We have evolved in every phase of life through technological advancement but it all came at a price; the cost of that development is so big that the future generations would have to pay it forever. We have cold bloodedly murdered our nature and destroyed its beauty. At the name of our advancement, our growth, our evolution we have made them extinct. Imagine a creature is extinct, its existence is no longer there and can never be due to our intervention in their habitats.

The unending dangerous gases emitting from factories, brick kilns, industries are causing such a damage that would be irreversible in the future. The birds who fly high in the sky have this highly contaminated air as their major breathing air. The lungs of these birds are severely damaged from this highly poisonous air. Reports show that emissions of hydrocarbons from traffic has led to reduced egg production and hatching, increased clutch and reduced growth. A study from Spain shows that black birds exposed to long term pollution have lower body weights

Now come to the ocean and the sea, the tons of oil spills over the Gulf of Mexico brought destruction to the fish life, the fish become deprived of sunlight and oxygen consequently leading to their death. Researchers from university of New Hampshire said that it threatened 39 marine species and caused great damaged to the corals. Not only this but oils pills cause great damage to birds too who feed on ocean water causing their death.

Not only this but the tons of garbage thrown into seas, oceans and rivers have caused deaths of many marine species. Straws and other garbage get stuck in their guts causing them to die. Many fishes and marine species were either hunted to extinction or died due to our waste thrown in their homes. The list includes sea mink, Japanese sea lion, Steller sea cow and many more.

The list of animal extinction on land due to human actions is even big. We have hunted, used and killed animals to make way for our evolution. Now even Markhor, our national animal is in the danger of extinction. Poaching, illegal hunting, illegal factories that stab in the heart of nature. So now, wont it be right to say that we have slaughtered animal in out conquest to evolve and survive? Haven't we made sure we survive and grow rather caring for the environment that allowed us to survive? What type of humans are we?
