Metamorphosis

Flowers

Mystifying

Hypnotic

Unmatched

She may appear like a dull leaf

Her outlines fading

Yelling for the dark to ignite

Ripping her heart shred by shred

Voices drown her own

Riot clawing her instead of revolution

Tired of being stomped upon

This may be the end of her

Nevertheless, she holds on.

Because there is more than anyone can visualize

As to every shadow there is a light

To every mark there is a remover

The season of blooming has now begun

Leaving every mouth a gap

Every soul dumbfounded

Her wings will mesmerize some

While petrify others

Her scent travels from perspective to perspective

Until it finds reason

Some look up to her

Others long for her to crumble

But she fans their jealously miles away

The surface of the never-ending monster inside, now in sight

It’s only a matter of breaking free

Liberty shall rein her life

The universe inside her, shall be displayed

So bring forth caution and awareness

Because this beauty is about to spread its wings

Alas, this may be the end of you
