Klaus is an animated children’s movie that was recently released in 2019 and quickly became the owner of countless awards. The movie is one of its kind and stands out from regular Pixar or Disney movies due to its fascinating animation and unique plot.
The main character of the movie is Jesper who is a son of a high-ranked officer due to which he is bedded in luxuries and has no pressure of working or making a future. But when his father sends him as a postman to a frozen town located in the far north, he happens to come across Santa Claus who, at that time, was just an ordinary woodcutter.
Throughout the movie, it has been depicted how the postman eventually helps in improving that town as the frozen weather was not the only problem there. That frozen town, Smeerensberg, was occupied by two different clans who hated each other since the beginning of time and bred hatred and resentment in their kids. However, when Jesper stepped in, he changed everything by receiving letters and delivering gifts made by the woodcutter, Klaus. Klaus has been portrayed as the person who eventually evolved into Santa Clause. Hence, this movie portrays another idea for the origin of Santa Claus which stands out from the historical explanation given everywhere. It has a commendable plot which illustrates vivid imagination and unique perception. Hence, it not only fascinates the younger ones but also leaves adults glued to the screen.
This movie also leaves a deep imprint on the audience’s mind as it conveys a beautiful message about love. It clearly illustrates the reality that a good and healthy society can only evolve if people show respect and love to their neighbors and practice tolerance and patience. Indeed bad feelings and emotions eventually manifest themselves in unpleasant ways.
